Have you ever wondered how some people make a living online? It doesn't look that hard, but when you try to do it - nobody even reads your stuff.
It can be incredibly frustrating, especially when you're a small business owner.And when you look at what they're doing - these people just seem like complete idiots.
Yesterday, I was perusing some posts on X (Twitter) and I came upon this masterpiece...
High ticket is wild because if you break down math
$40/day = $1.2M/mo
$5k product
$40k/$5k = 8 units
30% close rate = 26 calls
All u need 2 do is book 26 calls / day.
Doable 4 u
And my immediate response was, "Twenty-six calls a day is a TON of calls." I mean, if you're doing it by yourself, thats 13 hours of calls per day. How are you going to eat? Or spend time with friends? Or anything else?
Not to mention the 8 units a day of whatever you're selling, that you now have to fulfill for your new clients. That's an impossible workload.
But then after I thought about it, I realized something... These idiots aren't doing any of the work.
They're hiring closers to close those 26 calls per day, and they're probably paying them on a commission only basis.
Then they're hiring workers for next to nothing to fulfill all of the orders for their clients.
So it's actually very profitable business plan.
Because they don't pay anything if they don't make anything - but their upside is $1.2 million dollars a month, if they're selling a $5,000 product 8 times a day.
Of course that guy didn't come up with this plan all by himself. Someone probably taught him how to make this money this way. He's just following a system that's been proven to work.
Do you have a system that works? If not, you might want to find one.
Let's be real - most of these guys can't even spell!
But it doesn't matter, because they have a rock solid business plan. They don't need to be able to spell, as long as the underpaid copywriters they found on Upwork know how to spell.
And that's the beauty of internet marketing.
Everyday I'm reminded that there are idiots out on these streets, making cash hand over fist.
And if they can do it, anyone can. Remember - the average agency owner out there is just winging it. So if you’ve got something to sell, all you've got to do is put content out there. There’s likely someone out there waiting to buy from you.
They key is having a great offer that most people can't resist.
It doesn't matter what kind of business you own... if you have an incredible offer, less people are going to buy from you.
The guy above is promising his readers $1.2 million dollars in income every month. And the rest of his post is just proof that it can happen.
What is your offer? What are you promising your audience?
Is it so good that people don't care that you don't know how to spell? And if you're offer believable enough, that your readers will click through to learn more?
Because that's the key to making money these days... Make a big, believable promise to anyone who will listen. If you can do that, it doesn't matter how smart you are.
People will buy from you.
